Great Plains Chapter - Americans United For Separation of Church and State

Social Event: Music and New Radio Show Topics

Friday, June 16, 2017

The term "religious freedom" means the right to make decisions about theology for yourself. It's the right to worship God - or not to worship at all - as you see fit. What freedom of religion is NOT: It's not the right to tell other people what to do. It's not the right to make decisions for others. It's not the right to use the power of government to impose your theology on anyone else.

Wichita's newest community radio station, KSUN 95.9 FM, has invited the Great Plains Chapter of Americans United for Separation of Church to produce a radio program that will feature discussions about the right of every American to be free from religiously-influenced legislation. The program will be called "First Amendment Clarity Today - FACT."

YOU are invited to an evening of music by Johnny Q & the Classics, refreshments and an EXCHANGE OF IDEAS about what subjects should be discussed on the new radio program. The event is free and open to the public: next Friday, June 16th, starting at 6:30pm at the University Congregational Church at 9209 E. 29th St. North, Wichita, KS.
