Where Freedom Stands: Civil Liberties in Kansas Today

Thursday, July 9, 2015

From defending free speech to preserving the separation of church and state, from protecting privacy to securing equality for LGBT individuals - the civil liberties landscape in Kansas and the United States is changing quickly. Join the ACLU of Kansas and the Great Plains Chapter of Americans United for a conversation about the status of civil liberties in the state and nation. We will celebrate recent victories, discuss what happened during the 2015 Kansas legislative session, get advice on priorities for the coming year, and share steps every Kansan can take to defend our freedoms.
